IT Operations Network Specialist

Accountabilities
 

•    Manage, configure, and maintain network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
•    Monitor network health, performance, and capacity; proactively resolve issues.
•    Manage L2 operations: VLANs, trunking, STP, link aggregation, and segmentation.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network incidents and escalations.
•    Implement and enforce security best practices across IT and OT networks.
•    Participate in on-call rotations and support scheduled maintenance activities
•    Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network administration and operations within an enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of L2 networking concepts (switching, VLANs, STP, trunking).
•    Experience with Cisco networking devices IT and OT.

Requirements
Experience & Knowledge:

•    2 years of hands on experience in enterprise network administration or operations.
•    Strong understanding of L2 networking concepts (VLANs, STP, trunking).
•    Experience working with Cisco networking equipment in IT and OT environments.
•    knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
•    Experience configuring and troubleshooting L2/L3 switches and routers.
•    Familiarity with redundancy protocols (HSRP/VRRP)
•    Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG).
